Private Lessons - Simply the best way to learn dance.

There is No Better or Faster way to learn how to dance than Private lessons.
And it is not more expensive either!

Want to learn how to dance? Why spend several months in a group class when a few private lessons is all you need? Many people take dance classes just to get some excersice. They don't care much if the learn something or not. If you are one of those who are actually interested in learning to dance you should keep reading.

- Private sessions are available for people who have never danced before as well as advanced dancers. Some students come as individuals, some bring a partner (price is the same). A private session is much more efficient than a group class. Often a one hour private lesson is equivalent to 6-8 times of group classes. You can be confident that what you learn actually "work" when you go out to dance. Because of this private sessions may actually be a much cheaper way to learn a dance compared to taking group classes. Normal question: How many lessons do I need? It depends on what type of dance, and it depends on how good you want to become. Example: A couple that are complete beginners, should be able to go out dancing with confidence after about 5 lessons. Contact us if you are interested in this option. We go out to social dance every week. We often go together with our private lesson-students, so that we can get them started with social dancing and dance and have fun together with them. ___contact

Brief Description of dance styles

Salsa

Salsa mean sauce, but it is also the name of the most popular dance in the world. Salsa is a partner dance that is a lot of fun to dance and very cool to look at. You can use your whole body in this dance. Men should however not put too much movement in the hip area. The basic steps of this dance are very easy to learn - anybody can learn this dance. Salsa dancing is a great social activity that you can have fun with in latin clubs anywhere in the world. The Music of salsa is based on different rhtyhms from the Carribean area. Salsa music is the ultimate musical stimulation for audiences and dancers. The roots of this music are from Cuba, Puerto Rico, and neighboring Caribbean islands. However, this jazzy update of the mambo - evolved in the '70s in New York.

Argentine Tango

Argentine Tango is elegance in high heels. It is a beautiful classy, slow dance that almost is just as popular as salsa. Beijing is no exception. The dance steps are based on slow normal walking. Tango has the same counter clockwise flow of movement around the dance floor, but with a lesser sense of urgency in comparison to the smoother and more continuous ballroom dances. Tango walks, have a "stalking" or "sneaking" character. Argentine tango is like salsa one of the easiest dances to learn.

Latin

Latin American dances include Chachacha: Flashy, full of energy and up-beat. Jive: Similar to rock'n roll. Energetic and fast paced. Rumba:The dance of Love. Slow paced lyrical music. Samba: Originates from Brazil, known as the carnival dance. Paso Doble: The dance of the Bull fighter.

(Exercises for developing dance skills) The class concentrates on building strength, flexibility, balance, and body control. It is suitable for all sort of dancers regardless of your level. This dance class is challenging for both body and mind. Dresscode: Barefoot, be ready to sweat.

Pilates

- Pilates is a training method famous for flattening the abs, developing core strength, and toning the whole body. Pilates also improves coordination, posture, alignment, and focus. It is therapeutic for the back and joints. It is great for dancers because it basically makes you better at operating the body so you can move with grace and control.

Yoga

- Yoga is not a weird Eastern religion practiced by hippies. Yoga is a extremely effective and beneficial form of exercise that will give you strength balance and flexibility. Yoga brings awareness to your body - how you sit, how you stand, how you breathe, but it also focuses on attention on your mind, letting you learn how to relax a racing mind.
