Erik and Consuelo are recognized internationally for the quality of their performances and teaching. They are experts on teaching dance in a fun and simple way at any level. These are highly educated dancers that understand dance movement and proper technique to the fingertips. They are the teachers that educate and certify the salsa instructors in the National Dance Association in Norway.
The couple have thaught and performed at many international salsa dance events/congresses such as in Los Angeles, Puerto Rico, China, Sweden, Warzaw Poland, Chez Republic, Finland, Philadelphia USA, etc. They have performed at several events in New York City, such as famous Club Cache on Times Square. They placed among the top ten couples at the World Open Salsa Championship in Puerto Rico 2006. Erik and Consuelo have received valuable training from some the best instructors in the world such as US champion of Latin Ballroom (mambo) Edgar Osorio, Eddie Torres - 'the mambo king', Frankie Martinez, Alex Da Silva, Nelson Flores, Piel Canela dancers, Leon Rose, Santo Rico Dance company, etc. They are certified instructors of standard and latin dances, and are listed as instructors on SalsaNewYork.com.
They master all styles of Salsa/Mambo. Other dances: Argentine Tango, Swing, African, Street Jazz, standard and latin ballroom dances. Erik and Consuelo are also known for their "Dance Core Technique"- classes that include pilates, yoga, ballet and african dance. E and C currently live in Beijing, China where they besides teaching and performing choreograph in music videos for some of the artists of Crative Kingdom.
The couple have represented Norway on numerous occasions performing at the International Salsa Congresses in many cities around the world. They have taught and performed at events/congresses such as in Los Angeles, Puerto Rico, China, Taiwan, Sweden, Warzaw Poland, Chez Republic, Finland, Philadelphia USA, etc. They have performed at several events in New York City, such as famous Club Cache on Times Square.

They found each other on the dance floor in 2002 at the world Salsa Congress in Los Angeles. They married in 2003, moved to Norway and started teaching together. The dynamic duo is known as creators of the salsa scene in the city of Tromsø, which is the only 'New York style' salsa scene in Norway .
In 2006 They started to teach, perform and compete internationally. In 2007 Dance became the main profession for both of them when Erik left his academic carreer as university professor of economics.

- Consuelo from USA is a trained dancer. -
Before she moved from USA to Norway in 2003, she was a salsa performer and instructor. She was a member of Salvaje Dance Company in Arizona, one of the finest salsa dance companies in the states, known from international events such as the world congress in Los Angeles. Consuelo is a talented and trained dancer. She started studying dance in highschol in 1993 and performed ballet and Mexican folklore for 4 years. She later recieved formal dance training from college in Oregon, where she studied ballet, jazz and hip hop. She is by many considered the best female salsa dancer in Norway. Since 2003 she has devoted 100 % of her time to learning and teaching dance.

However, he had absolutely no dance background (or talent) before he got involved in salsa. He had to work very hard to understand even the simplest dance movements and how to operate the body. Today Erik is a trained and educated dancer with a great understanding of what the dancer is doing, how to learn it (and how to teach it). Using many years experience as a univeristy professor, Erik is known for his unique ability to break down and explain dance in a fun and easy way. He is expert on teaching private lessons and is in big demand. In January 2007 he jumped off his academic career to become a full time dancer.
